Welcome to Vidyavanta ("Vidyavanta", "we", "our", or "us"). The website www.vidyavanta.com provides educational question-and-answer resources for students studying under the ICSE, CBSE and WBBSE curricula, primarily for Classes 6 to 10.

By registering on, accessing, browsing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Our Services

Vidyavanta provides chapter-wise educational question-and-answer resources in downloadable PDF format.

The standard question set may contain:

  • 25 short-answer questions, generally requiring answers of approximately 1–2 lines; and
  • 25 broad-answer questions, generally requiring answers of approximately 4–5 lines.

The actual content, format, number of questions and availability may vary depending on the selected class, subject and chapter.

2. Registration

To use the paid download service, users may be required to create an account.

Information requested during registration may include:

  • School Name
  • Student Name
  • Guardian Name
  • Mobile/Phone Number
  • Email Address
  • Other information reasonably required to provide the service

Users are responsible for providing accurate and current information.

Where the student is a minor, the registration and purchase should be completed or authorised by a parent or legal guardian.

3. Selection of Question Sets

Users may select available question sets according to:

  • Board
  • Class
  • Subject
  • Chapter

Availability of particular chapters or question sets may change from time to time.

4. Pricing

The indicative pricing structure is:

Single Chapter: Rs.25/-
Multiple Chapters – 5 Chapters: Rs.100/-

Vidyavanta may change its pricing, packages or offers from time to time. The applicable price displayed on the website at the time of purchase shall apply to that transaction.

Any applicable taxes or charges, if separately applicable, will be displayed as required.

5. Online Payment

Payments are processed through the online payment service provider integrated with the website, currently Razorpay.

Vidyavanta does not request or require users to provide their card, banking or other payment credentials directly to Vidyavanta.

Payment processing is subject to the applicable terms and privacy practices of the payment service provider.

6. Generation and Delivery of PDF

After successful payment, Vidyavanta will process the selected request and prepare the applicable PDF.

We aim to make the PDF available as soon as reasonably possible and normally within 24

hours of successful payment.

The completed PDF will normally be made available through the user's Dashboard → My Downloads section.

Users should ensure that their registered email address and mobile number are correct.

 

7. Payment Confirmation

A payment may take some time to be confirmed because payment confirmation depends upon the payment gateway and banking/payment networks.

If money has been deducted from the user's account but the order does not appear in the Dashboard, the user should contact Vidyavanta support with the relevant transaction details.

8. User Account

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

Users should immediately inform Vidyavanta if they believe that their account has been accessed without permission.

Vidyavanta shall not be responsible for losses resulting from a user's failure to maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.

9. Downloaded Material

Purchased PDF materials are provided for the personal educational use of the registered user.

Users must not:

  • Sell the PDF to another person;
  • Upload the PDF to another website;
  • Share the PDF publicly on social media or messaging groups;
  • Distribute the PDF through Telegram, WhatsApp or similar platforms;
  • Reproduce the material commercially;
  • Modify and sell the material;
  • Claim the material as their own;
  • Use the material for commercial distribution without written permission from Vidyavanta.

10. Educational Purpose

The question-and-answer materials are intended as supplementary educational resources.

Vidyavanta does not guarantee that:

  • every question will appear in a school examination;
  • any particular question will appear in a board examination;
  • the material alone will ensure a particular examination result; or
  • the material will exactly match the question paper of any school or board examination.

Students should use the material along with their prescribed textbooks, classroom teaching and other appropriate study resources.

11. Curriculum and Board References

References to ICSE, CBSE and WBBSE are made to identify the relevant educational curriculum or examination framework.

Vidyavanta is an independent educational content/service provider unless expressly stated otherwise.

Vidyavanta does not claim to be affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected with CISCE, CBSE or WBBSE unless such affiliation is specifically stated on the website.

12. Website Availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the website and services available. However, temporary interruption may occur because of:

  • Server maintenance;
  • Internet/network problems;
  • Payment gateway issues;
  • Technical problems;
  • Security incidents;
  • Power failures;
  • Force majeure events; or
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

13. Suspension or Termination

Vidyavanta may suspend or terminate an account where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraudulent activity;
  • Misuse of the website;
  • Unauthorised sharing or distribution of paid content;
  • False information;
  • Attempts to compromise website security; or
  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions.

14. Intellectual Property

All original question sets, answers, website content, design, logos, graphics, databases and other materials created or legally licensed by Vidyavanta remain the intellectual property of Vidyavanta or the applicable rights holder.

Unauthorised copying, reproduction or commercial distribution is prohibited.

15. Changes to Terms

Vidyavanta may modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with the revised date.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts/authorities at Kolkata Jurisdiction, West Bengal.
